At UNBOUND in Boston, on 16-18 September 2026, HubSpot repositioned itself (HubSpot, UNBOUND 2026 recap). It is no longer selling a CRM with AI features. It is selling an agentic customer platform: a CRM that updates itself, a shared layer of business context, and AI agents that do work across marketing, sales and service (HubSpot, Fall '26 Spotlight; SoftwareReviews).
For enterprises in Southeast Asia, the announcement matters less for any single feature than for what it implies. That is a leadership question, not a software one.
What HubSpot announced
HubSpot's release has three layers. Independent analysts at Info-Tech's SoftwareReviews describe the same structure: a self-updating Smart CRM, a shared context layer, and AI assistants and agents coordinating work across the customer lifecycle (SoftwareReviews).
A Smart CRM that updates itself
Calls, emails and meetings can now be captured and synced automatically (HubSpot). This addresses the oldest problem in CRM: records that are only as good as the last person who bothered to update them.
A shared context layer
HubSpot calls this Growth Context: the combination of business, team and customer data that grounds its AI. A new view, Context Home, scores how complete that context is and shows where the gaps are (HubSpot). HubSpot reports that businesses using AI with high-quality context “create 3.6x more MQLs, win 3.2x more deals, and close over 2x more tickets” (same source).
Breeze Assistant and the agents
Breeze Assistant is the conversational front end. HubSpot says it “doesn't just answer questions, it now takes action based on the direction you give it”, drawing on CRM data to draft campaigns, refine pitches and surface account risks (HubSpot; HubSpot Spotlight).
Two agents carry most of the weight in sales and service:
- Customer Agent resolves enquiries across chat, email, voice and social. HubSpot reports customers see “an 84% higher ticket resolution rate” (HubSpot Spotlight). Third-party recaps list Customer Agent voice as a public beta (Vantage Point).
- Prospecting Agent watches target accounts for buying signals and drafts outreach. HubSpot says it can “monitor 40+ buying signals, assemble a buying group, and draft personalized outreach”, and reports customers “book 82% more meetings” (HubSpot; HubSpot Spotlight).
Around them, Agent Hub now lists Content, Campaign and Nurture agents for marketing, a Data Agent for insights from CRM, calls and documents, a Revenue Agent for invoice follow-up, and Smart Deal Progression for next steps after calls, all paid for in HubSpot Credits (HubSpot).
Agent Hub and Agent Builder
Agent Hub is HubSpot's central home for building and managing every agent in the account, available to all Starter, Professional and Enterprise customers (HubSpot). Agent Builder lets teams create custom agents for workflows unique to their business, such as deal analysis or lead scoring against an ideal customer profile (HubSpot Spotlight). For an enterprise, Agent Hub is the more important of the two. It is where governance lives.
Marketing Studio
Marketing Studio joins insight and action in one workspace, including an AEO visibility score for answer engines. HubSpot reports early customers “create 81% more campaigns” (HubSpot). Third-party recaps list Marketing Studio as a public beta (Vantage Point), so check availability for your account before planning around it.
Open to the AI your teams already use
HubSpot now offers connectors that bring its customer data into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Copilot, and an MCP server with read and write access across objects such as landing pages, campaigns, quotes and workflows (HubSpot Spotlight). The CRM is no longer only a destination people log in to. It becomes the source of truth that every AI tool in the business draws from.
