Who we are
This notice is issued by Azend Group Sdn. Bhd. (202401003689 / 1549539-V), a company headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with offices in Singapore and Makati. In this notice, "Azend", "we" and "us" mean Azend Group Sdn. Bhd. and its offices.
It covers personal data we collect through azend.group and its contact form. It does not cover the CRM and other systems we build or run for clients, which are governed by our agreements with those clients.
What we collect
- What you give us. When you use the contact form or email us: your name, work email, company, role, country, what you want to fix and your message.
- What your device sends. When you browse the site: technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and the referring page, collected through cookies and similar technologies. See our cookie notice.
- What you share in a conversation. Anything you tell us on a call or by email while we discuss working together.
Please do not send us sensitive personal data, such as health or financial details, through the site.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a strategy call.
- To prepare proposals and manage our relationship with you and your company.
- To send you updates you have asked for. You can opt out at any time.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To keep the site secure and meet our legal obligations.
Our legal bases
Depending on the law that applies to you, we rely on your consent, on the steps needed to respond to a request you made or to enter into a contract with you, on our legal obligations, or on our legitimate interests in running and improving our business where the law allows it. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers who process data for us, such as our CRM, email, hosting and analytics providers, under contracts that limit how they use it.
- Our own offices in Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines, so the right team can respond to you.
- Professional advisers and authorities where the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.
Transfers across borders
We work across Southeast Asia, and our service providers may store or process data outside the country where you are. When we transfer personal data across borders, we take the steps the applicable law requires to keep it protected to a comparable standard.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it for, and for as long as we must to meet our legal, accounting or reporting obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
How we protect it
We limit access to people who need it, use access controls in the systems we use, and require our service providers to protect the data they handle for us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010, Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and the Philippines Data Privacy Act of 2012, and subject to the conditions in each law, you can ask us to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct personal data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
- Withdraw consent to our use of your personal data, including for marketing.
The law in your country may give you further rights. To use any of them, email hello@azend.group. We may need to verify your identity before we respond. You may also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.
